Sensei Tim Spiess
Sensei Tim Spiess will teach the complete “White Crane Wings” Kata along with the applications of the techniques.
“White Crane Wings” Kata was developed by Sensei Spiess for one of the advanced Black Belt requirements. To create this avanced kata Sensei Spiess combined various techniques from the Sen Lin Chuan system.
Sen Lin Chuan was founded by Master Tim Hawk. Hawk combined the arts of Shorinji Ryu, Shorin Ryu, Goju Ryu and several styles of Chinese Kung Fu. The Okinawan karate is from the lineage of Hohan Soken and Fusei Kise. The Kung Fu is taken from Daniel K. Pai, and San Keun So Do of Hong Kong.
You will learn the entire Kata, its applications along with Bunkai, and the explanation of pressure point strikes. Participants of the workshop will receive a limited edition DVD of the Kata, which will help the student maintain the performance accuracy of the Kata.
